About

Psilights is a stretched panel of light: a display built at an extreme width-to-height ratio, closer to a fixture or a work of art than to a screen. It shows slow, abstract animation — gradients, drifting fields, particles, the occasional line of text — and it is meant to be noticed the way light is noticed: peripherally, and without demand.

This site is, for now, a journal of the work: notes on the panels, the content, and the thinking as the product takes shape. A proper home for it will follow. Until then, the writing is the record.
